The challenge was adding the \u201cJ,\u201d which is why I was brought in. I included two other designs, unfortunately not accepted but were contenders. Many designers will contribute to the studio. Using the \u201cj\u201d alone as a mark would make it more inclusive, not tying directly to one person. As for the script version, the hand-drawn font visually tied the entire logo to my eye.
